Plant Inspection
Most motor trade insurers can offer statutory inspection service whether this is as part of the main motor trade combined or as a separate engineering offering.
You will be charged a fee for this service, which is subject to VAT.
The fee will be calculated based on plant to be inspected, which will be broken into the following categories :-
- Lifting/Handling Plant Items (such as Lifting Tables, Jacks, Cranes etc).
- Pressure Vessel Items (such as an Air Receiver).
- Extraction/Ventilation Equipment (Such as a Spray booth).
The plant will then be inspected as required by the statutory regulations.
