Do you provide a vehicle to a customers whilst the customer vehicle is being serviced/repaired ?
If you do then the number of vehicles used & types of vehicles should be advised to your broker.
If you wish to cover vehicles on your motor trade policy then this needs to be stipulated clearly when speaking to an insurance broker/insurance company & full cover should be requested from the insurance company.
Full cover will be subject to certain criteria, terms & conditions, which will vary dependent on the insurance company.
Despite the name loan/hire extension will not cover vehicles hired to customers where their vehicle is not being serviced/repaired. If a vehicle is hired to the customer under a hire agreement by a self drive hire operator then this would require separate self drive insurance.
